Presenters Headshots of Radio 5’s Clare Mcdonnell

BRIGHTON PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER | PRESENTERS HEADSHOTS

I had a hilarious headshot photoshoot with the brilliant radio presenter Clare Mcdonnell in my Brighton studio.

Clare is making the move from BBC Radio Kent to Radio5 Live and needed some new headshots for the BBC website, for her agents, and for her personal PR. Clare is such an amusing and interesting person and a real joy to photograph, and we spent a good 90 minutes bantering, talking rubbish and getting some great shots.

“Dave was a total pro. Not only did he put me at my ease, he also taught me some invaluable techniques of how to pose and at the same time look natural for a photo, a tricky endeavour. He also managed to capture “me”, what I am really like. So you will come away with authentic, warm pictures. Highly recommended.”

Actor Headshots Brighton – Brian Stephens

BRIGHTON PHOTOGRAPHER | ACTOR HEADSHOTS PORTRAITS

The well respected actor Brian L Stephens needed some new headshots for Spotlight, Casting Call Pro and his agents, and travelled from his home in Eastbourne to my Brighton photo studio yesterday for his photoshoot.

Brian is such a charmer and a fine actor and has appeared on TV and the stage in Casualty, Brookside, Merseybeat, Amadeus – amongst many others. Brian is a dream for a headshot photographer with such a characterful face and easy ability to follow direction during the photoshoot.

We talked for a while about the direction he wanted his career to move in, and I was interested in making some photos of him that portrayed a rather darker side then he is used to play, and ended up with what I consider to be some brilliantly powerful images. Here are just two photos from Brian’s headshot photoshoot.

“I am really delighted with my photographs. I am usually a little uncomfortable in front of a camera, when I don’t have a character to hide behind! However, I felt relaxed and completely engaged in the creative process. I think the results speak for themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed the session and it was a great pleasure to work with you on producing photographs, which I feel confident show various aspects of my character and will be of great help in the casting process.
