Dean Robinson ‘Tough-Man’ Actor Headshots Brighton

Just finished an excellent headshot photoshoot with the charismatic actor Dean Robinson in the studio. Dean needed to update his Spotlight and Casting Call Pro headshots and I was really happy to be his headshot photographer.

Dean is well known for playing ‘hard’ men and wanted to continue that with his new set of headshots. After playing me his excellent showreel we set to work on a variety of looks, and all concentrating on reinforcing his ‘tough man’ image.

It was a fun and productive photoshoot in the studio and Dean is such a good character actor that I hardly needed to ofter him any direction and coaching tips.

The young aspiring Brighton actor Eleanor Lakin got in touch for some new actor headshots for her drama and performance school and to support her casting auditions.

Eleanor wanted natural light shots with a simple non-distracting outdoor background, and this really suited her beautiful natural look and complexion. It was a relaxed and fun photoshoot in the (slightly) warm April sun. I started the photoshoot with a few minutes of talking through the specific techniques of how to pose for the camera, how to look at the lens, and what different head positions ‘impart’ to the viewer – how important this all is for headshots. Eleanor totally got it, and was so wonderful to work with.

“I love the photos. I had such a great time! I’ve never taken any kind of professional photos before and I was really nervous but you put me at ease and made me feel really relaxed and comfortable. I’m so happy with all the shots we took and I will definitely be returning if I need anymore in the future! Thank you once again!”
