A brilliant location photoshoot with the the talented and lovely EDM singer Maya Wolff in ‘Digital’ club in Brighton on Saturday.

Maya needed some new PR and promotional photography and so we headed down pretty late on Saturday night to meet her before her soundcheck at Digital. It’s a dark venue, lots of grungy black walls, low ceilings and no ambient light – but with a couple of portable flash units, some superb makeup by Charlene Hudson , gorgeous hair by Vimal Chavda and the totally wonderful Maya I couldn’t help but get some amazing images.

He was very easy to work with and made an improvised impromptu shoot look professional like it had been planned out carefully! He has a creative eye for the camera as doesn’t shy from directing to get the perfect shot! His passion for photography is obvious and shows in the work he delivers!”

I had a hilarious headshot photoshoot with the brilliant radio presenter Clare Mcdonnell in my Brighton studio.

Clare is making the move from BBC Radio Kent to Radio5 Live and needed some new headshots for the BBC website, for her agents, and for her personal PR. Clare is such an amusing and interesting person and a real joy to photograph, and we spent a good 90 minutes bantering, talking rubbish and getting some great shots.

“Dave was a total pro. Not only did he put me at my ease, he also taught me some invaluable techniques of how to pose and at the same time look natural for a photo, a tricky endeavour. He also managed to capture “me”, what I am really like. So you will come away with authentic, warm pictures. Highly recommended.”
