Spent a fun hour in the company of 11 year-old Jem, photographing him for a new set of headshots for his agent and for Spotlight. I always really look forward to photographing children and teenagers, especially young actors, as they are usually just brilliantly hilarious to photograph. I love these headshots of Jem, he’s got such a striking presence.

Say hello to Flynn, who is 14 years old and a brilliant aspiring actor, and who came over to the Brighton studio for a new set of headshots for Spotlight. At Flynn’s age it’s so important to update your teenage actor headshots every year or so, as facial features change and mature – and casting directors don’t want to call up a young fresh faced teenage only to discover that their headshots are 2 years old and they have grown a full length beard and have gnarly grisled features… Flynn was a real star (as was his brother Jem – more of him real soon) and here are a couple of stunning headshots.
