Yesterday I welcomed into my central Brighton studio the wonderful actress, singer and dancer Carly Athawes who needed to update her actress headshot portfolio.

Carly is a busy lady but still made the journey from Christchurch, Bournemouth even though she’d just got back from working in Dubai.

I love working with actors like Carly, who are versatile, fun, have great range and arrive with a lovely positive attitude to their headshot photoshoot. Carly has a wide playing age range and so we came away with a really big choice of headshots. I love these shots.

The lovely, vivacious Kate Barella got in touch to get new casting headshots as she’s been out of the acting game for a while now and really wants to get back into it – who can blame her! Kate travelled over from Eastbourne to Brighton for her new headshots, and I’m so glad she did.

Our casting headshot photoshoot in the Brighton Studio was hilarious and if Kate thinks of another career then she couldn’t do worse than a bit of standup comedy. Seriously, being a headshot photographer is just the best job ever.
