The beautiful young actress and classically-trained singer Lois Russell-Moyle came to the studio this week to have her first ever headshot photoshoot with a professional photographer. Lois is in her final year at the wonderful East 15 drama school in Essex and they will be performing at least three shows in London in front of agents and casting directors this year, and it’s vital to have a great (not average) headshot to hand out. This is the time when they are taken on by agents – and agents DO NOT want iphone selfies or your mate’s daft snap of you – they want to see you are taking this profession seriously. Lois was brilliant in front of the camera and was able to take my direction and coaching without any trouble at all, and I’m sure she will have an amazing career ahead of her.

I photographed the charming and talented young opera singer and actor Inti Conde in my Brighton studio for his Spotlight and Casting Call Pro headshot portraits.

Inti had travelled down from London for the photoshoot – he was a real pleasure to work with and was excellent at taking directions and understanding the coaching I gave him as we went along.  I just love these two powerful photos of him.
