Definitely one of my favourite portrait photoshoots of late to produce portraits of author and fireman Paul Grimwood for his upcoming book on firefighting techniques. We wanted two shots; one for the cover which would be of a firefighter (and we introduced a hint of blue-light for the ’emergency services’ feel) and then a rear-jacket portrait – which I wanted strong and commanding. Love these!
