BRIGHTON PHOTOGRAPHER | ACTOR HEADSHOTS PORTRAITS

The well respected actor Brian L Stephens needed some new headshots for Spotlight, Casting Call Pro and his agents, and travelled from his home in Eastbourne to my Brighton photo studio yesterday for his photoshoot.

Brian is such a charmer and a fine actor and has appeared on TV and the stage in Casualty, Brookside, Merseybeat, Amadeus – amongst many others. Brian is a dream for a headshot photographer with such a characterful face and easy ability to follow direction during the photoshoot.

We talked for a while about the direction he wanted his career to move in, and I was interested in making some photos of him that portrayed a rather darker side then he is used to play, and ended up with what I consider to be some brilliantly powerful images. Here are just two photos from Brian’s headshot photoshoot.

“I am really delighted with my photographs. I am usually a little uncomfortable in front of a camera, when I don’t have a character to hide behind! However, I felt relaxed and completely engaged in the creative process. I think the results speak for themselves.
